Jermaine and Lenny are the best. They did a great job troubleshooting an issue 2 previous electricians could not figure out. They did the work, were very friendly and professional. We have used MR Electricians for various projects in my dads house in Rockville. The office staff is I courteous & books appointments in timely fashion. The electricians are efficient, honest and trustworthy. They communicate about their work, your needs & make excellent suggestions with respect to projects you need to monitor or keep an eye on, for example, we have 2 homes that are 50 years or older & the electric codes & wirings have to be updated for safety. Great and honest company. Came out right away for a problem we had at the restaurant we run. They took care of multiple problems we had at a fair and reasonable price. Ben was the gentleman who worked on our issues and we also had them come out to our home for a small problem we had. And once again, Ben did a great job. I have been a commercial customer of M.R. Electricians for over 9 years, they have always provided professional service and fair pricing. We have had large and expensive jobs that had to be bid to multiple contractors, M. R. has without fail priced things very competitively, they have not always gotten every job but over 90%. Their electricians are always on time (or call if they are going to be held up), always courteous and professional.

We have used them for everything from suite access systems, re-wiring light poles in parking lots, retrofitting interiors with LED lighting, retrofitting parking lot and interior building lighting to LED's, wiring and installation of A/V equipment, the list goes on. On a number of occasions I've called them with an open ticket, I know their labor rates but did not know how long a job would take, so I had to have faith in them and hope I would not be ripped off, Never happened, I was always given a total breakdown of hours, materials and a complete description of what was done.

I have dealt directly with one of the owners (Mark) many times, Over the last 4-6 years I've been dealing directly with one of the senior folks there (Chad). I highly recommend M.R. Electricians to any commercial or residential property manager in the area, I have complete and total confidence that the job will be done on time and at a fair and reasonable price.

Unfortunately on my way home from work I had a M R electrician truck cut me off and proceed to flip me off and roll down his window and yell. Not to smart to do in a company truck. MD license plate number is 8BR0925 PLEASE GET THIS PERSON OFF THE ROAD

They have a driver who is so reckless on the road that he should not even have a license. I will be telling everyone to NEVER do business with this company due to their obvious lack of judgement with who they allow to drive their company vehicles. I called the company and reported the driver but I doubt I'll receive a call back as the phone seems to go straight to the machine even when you call during business hours.

This driver was going over 80mph in a 40mph zone, cut meoff twice and proceeded to slam on his breaks both times he did, and once again just for fun I guess. I have no idea what prompted this driver to attack me for some reason (maybe the coexist and/or peace bumper stickers I have? that's honestly the only thing I can think of as I wasnt driving recklessly myself) but I strongly believe they should be taken off the road asap. I think people driving your company vehicles should have more sense than to be so outrageous on the road.

These guys weren't quick to respond when I called them. My boss was looking for electricians to fix some electrical issues we had been having for almost a full week. When they finally came they did such a poor job everyone was just left complaining. They're just complete amateurs.

I used them due to great word of mouth. They took a week to return my call due to some phone problem they were having. Only after a mutual friend pinged them did they return my call. When they did arrive, they replaced a hanging light fixture, two ceiling fans, added an outlet in my garage, and dismantled my two outdoor lights to determine it was the light fixtures that were bad and no electrical problem (they left them down and I installed new ones later myself).

That set me back about $620 for less than 3 hours of labor and maybe $30 of materials. Needless to say I was floored by that cost especially since the office explained their hourly rates which I thought was reasonable. Turns out they brought along an apprentice to which I had to pay an additional $65 per hour for that person. Frankly, I felt very misled. Yes, they did a good job but I don't think I should have paid for a second person who did not do any of the wiring.

M.R. Electricians just completed the re-wiring of my entire apartment -- new breaker box, plugs, switches, etc. (replacing a mess of original 1920s wire and poorly-done 1980s repairs). In the many contractors/service companies that I have dealt with in my renovation, M.R. Electric stood apart as reasonably priced, always prompt, able to accommodate my schedule, and very friendly.

From our first estimate meeting onward, Chad, the Project Manager, addressed all of my concerns in a prompt and courteous manner. Brian, the master technician, took the time to explain the different components of my new electrical system and even stayed late to help me double check everything was in order the night before my building inspection. M.R.E. went above and beyond to provide excellent quality workmanship within both my budget and timeframe. I highly recommend them for any electrical project.
